Materials Management Clerk 2

The University of Miami/UHealth Department of Supply Chain has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Materials Management Clerk 2 to work at the UHealth Medical Campus. The Sr. Materials Management Clerk (U) takes a lead role in ensuring that all supplies are purchased, received, inspected, and stored in the applicable facility locations. In addition, the incumbent oversees and trains junior staff to ensure compliance with applicable quality standards.

Ensures that all necessary supplies and par levels are maintained for all assigned areas. Participates in the receipt, inspection, and delivery of all incoming supplies. Maintains all order related documentation and tracking information. Approves all critical supply logs for storeroom inventory supplies. Review's product use and coordinates ordering to assure best pricing. Works with other departments to resolve inventory and supply orders issues, ensure timely deliveries, and address stop shipments or credit holds. Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

Department Specific Functions

Enters requisitions via the various platforms (QSight/Meperia/Workday/AllScripts) for Surgical Services. Reviews backorder report daily from distributor and other suppliers (GHX). Works with clinicians/value analysis/sales representative/purchasing for substitute product. Responds and completes recall notifications on the ECRI portal assign to Surgical Services. Maintain data integrity in tissue tracking system (QSight) - Enters products correctly into the system, prints out barcode either system generated serial number or supplier serial number. Reconcile tissue monthly with sale representative against QSight data. * RFID Cabinets will replace barcode with RFID tag * Report to OR Materials Manager any concerns and/or opportunities within Surgical Services. Produce bill only and bill & replace requisitions within 24 hours. Assume a supervisory role when OR Materials Manager is not present with support from Director Materials Management.

Core Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent Minimum 2 year of relevant Operating Room experience

Knowledge, Skills And Attitudes

Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail. Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines. Commitment to the University's core values. General knowledge of office procedures and operations. Skill in data entry with minimal errors.

Any relevant education, certifications and/or work experience may be considered.
