SUMMARY

This position is responsible for leading and contributing to POD’s end-to-end modernization efforts. The role requires expert knowledge in architecting and designing Salesforce instances, implementing solutions, and managing Customer Relationship and Customer Experience portfolios. We seek a multi-talented professional with deep technical expertise, experience in building cloud solutions, and strong leadership skills. The incumbent acts as a top subject matter expert in Salesforce architecture, managing projects, and overseeing personnel, work products, standards, policies, and IT assets. They are expected to resolve complex work problems, support organizational efforts, and provide guidance to achieve high customer service levels. The work involves technology leadership, initiative, creativity, and independent or team-based judgment. The ideal candidate must be recognized as an expert in Salesforce Architecture, with a proven track record in leadership and achievement. They should have the ability to initiate and coordinate complex evaluations, proofs of concept, and prototypes, and to implement paradigm-shifting technologies across organizations. Minimum experience includes at least 5 years working for a company or government agency with at least 300 employees (private sector) or 500 (government). ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Understand business drivers and capabilities to determine architectural designs and change requirements aligned with organizational goals. · Collaborate with Product Managers, Stakeholders, Admins, and Teams to design cloud solutions using Salesforce technologies. · Select appropriate Salesforce and third-party technologies based on product knowledge and industry standards. · Provide insights into successful customer transformations within the industry. · Own solution architecture, including integrations, security, configuration, and custom development. · Partner with stakeholders to translate business priorities into actionable roadmaps and designs. · Maximize business value by prioritizing and applying new Salesforce features. · Ensure system requirements are met, including testing, performance, and security, working with implementation teams. · Promote best practices in architecture, programming, and documentation within Salesforce development teams. · Recommend improvements for processes and system designs. · Coordinate with project management to align execution with plans. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, systems analysis, or related field. · 7-10 years of Salesforce implementation experience. · Deep knowledge of Salesforce CRM and Salesforce CPQ. · Experience with large data volumes, Apex, process automation, Aura, Lightning Web Components, data modeling, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Community Cloud. · Skills in Salesforce configuration, customization, integrations (SOAP, REST, MuleSoft), release management, source control, and deployment tools. · Experience with Salesforce application development, including Visualforce, Apex, Lightning, and web services. · Past experience with Demandware, Mulesoft, and SFDC standard objects. · Experience with CLM and CPQ systems, including X-Author, clause libraries, and contract templates. · Knowledge of Salesforce Lead and Case management configurations. · Understanding of emerging technology trends and their application to business models. · Familiarity with Agile methodologies and supporting agile project teams.
