Operations isn’t a support function here—it's the engine. At 2 Hour Learning, our AI-native K-12 School Network functions only when our campus operations execute flawlessly. The Operations Team doesn’t provide support for growth; they are the mechanism that powers it. Every team member specializes in one of five essential domains, rapidly building expertise through hands‑on execution and AI-enhanced learning.
Authorization & Permitting – Navigate multi‑state legal frameworks and expedite local permitting processes to open new territories.
Physical Build‑Out & Maintenance – Manage campus construction, facility upgrades, and contractor accountability to deliver and preserve exceptional learning environments.
IT Operational Setup – Equip each new school with fully operational systems—hardware, software, support infrastructure, and compliance protocols—from day one.
Financial Operations – Construct budgets, produce real‑time insight dashboards, and ensure audit‑compliant financial governance across all schools and business units.
PMO – Drive the completion of critical technology and marketing projects through vendor performance tracking, dashboard reporting, and initiative oversight.
You’ll deploy dashboards that expose hidden financial risks. Engineer onboarding workflows that cut student setup failures in half. Obtain state regulatory clearance. Launch campuses on accelerated timelines. Or build AI‑driven processes that eliminate traditional management layers. This is mission‑critical, fast‑moving execution—led by builders, not observers.
If you’re an operator who identifies friction and immediately starts building solutions—not convening committees—this role will suit you. The systems you create will underpin the 25–30 schools launching in the coming year. Your contributions will set the operational standard for hundreds of employees and thousands of learners. And your results will be unmistakable.
What You Will Be Doing
Taking ownership of one of five operational pillars: Authorization, Build‑Out, Platforms, Finance, or PMO.
Addressing novel challenges in your domain through AI tools, automation, and iterative problem‑solving.
Creating precise documentation, dashboards, or operational guides that function reliably across multiple campuses.
Engaging directly with practical realities: facility contractors, regulatory bodies, technology systems, and on‑campus teams.
Visiting school sites as required to deploy or validate the effectiveness of your systems.
What You Won’t Be Doing
Relying on product or engineering teams to develop your operational tools—you’ll build prototypes and automation independently.
Using AI to generate boilerplate procedures without refinement—you’ll create functional, field‑tested solutions.
Operating exclusively from headquarters—regular travel and on‑location delivery are expected.
Delegating execution after defining strategy—you’ll be accountable for both design and implementation.
Senior Director Of Operations Key Responsibilities Deliver measurable results in your designated operations pillar by designing and implementing systems that enable rapid, accurate, AI‑enabled school expansion at scale.

Background in at least one of the following areas: regulatory compliance, facilities construction, SaaS user onboarding, FP&A, or technology vendor management.
