Operations isn't a support function here—it's the foundation of everything we do. At 2 Hour Learning, our AI‑native K‑12 School Network across the country depends entirely on operational systems that function flawlessly. Our operations team doesn't assist with growth—they make it possible.

Every team member owns one of five critical operational domains, rapidly achieving expert‑level proficiency through hands‑on execution and AI‑enhanced learning.

Authorization & Permitting – Obtain legal clearance across multiple states and expedite local permitting processes to open new markets.

Physical Build‑Out & Maintenance – Manage campus construction, facility upgrades, and vendor accountability to deliver and maintain superior learning environments.

IT Operational Setup – Deploy complete systems infrastructure for every new school—hardware, software platforms, technical support, compliance frameworks—ready from day one.

Financial Operations – Create budgets, produce real‑time insight dashboards, and ensure audit‑ready financial governance across all schools and business units.

PMO – Drive execution of strategic technology and marketing projects through vendor performance tracking, dashboard analytics, and project‑level visibility.

You’ll create dashboards that illuminate hidden financial dynamics. Engineer onboarding workflows that cut student setup failures in half. Obtain state regulatory authorization. Launch campuses at unprecedented speed. Or develop AI‑native operational models that eliminate traditional management overhead. This is mission‑critical, fast‑paced execution—reserved for builders, not observers.

If you’re an operator who identifies constraints and immediately begins constructing solutions—rather than convening discussions—it’s an environment that will suit you. The systems you build will enable the 25‑30 schools we’re launching over the next year. Your execution will establish operational excellence standards for hundreds of team members and thousands of learners. And your results will be undeniable.

What You Will Be Doing

Taking full ownership of one of five essential operations domains: Authorization, Build‑Out, Platforms, Finance, or PMO.

Addressing novel challenges within your domain through AI tools, automation, and fast experimentation.

Creating detailed specifications, dashboards, or procedural documentation that function across multiple school sites.

Engaging directly with operational realities: facility contractors, regulatory bodies, technology systems, and campus personnel.

Visiting school locations as required to deploy or validate your operational solutions.

What You Won’t Be Doing

Relying on product or engineering teams to create your operational tools—you’ll build prototypes and automate processes independently.

Using AI to generate generic standard operating procedures without substance—you’ll vibe‑code functional solutions that deliver real results.

Operating exclusively from headquarters—regular travel and on‑location delivery are expected.

Delegating execution of your strategic plans to others—you’ll own both design and implementation completely.

Senior Director Of Operations Key Responsibilities Deliver measurable results within your designated operations pillar by designing and implementing systems that enable rapid‑scale school expansion with precision, speed, and AI‑first methodology.
