Senior Strategic Account Manager at Soni Base pay range: $130,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

Location: NYC, Boston, DC, Silicon Valley, or Santa Monica (4 days on-site). Must work EST.

We’re partnering with a global professional services firm looking for a strategic leader to build and scale its key account program. This role will partner with senior stakeholders to deepen client relationships, accelerate revenue growth, and develop scalable frameworks that help teams drive measurable commercial outcomes. Ideal candidates have built account programs from the ground up, understand the complexity of enterprise clients, and can influence change across a highly matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

Build and scale a key account strategy program that strengthens enterprise client relationships and expands revenue opportunities.

Partner with senior stakeholders to develop account plans, identify whitespace opportunities, and support execution across global client teams.

Lead cross-functional collaboration between client development, research, and practice groups to deliver strategic insights and business growth.

Develop frameworks, reporting tools, KPIs, and playbooks that institutionalize best practices across accounts.

Lead internal client team meetings, drive accountability, and ensure progress against strategic and tactical priorities.

Oversee research and client intelligence to inform market positioning, cross-practice collaboration, and industry-specific opportunities.

Prepare executive-level presentations, reporting, and materials for internal and client-facing strategy discussions.

Qualifications

8+ years

in professional services (law, consulting, financial services, private equity, investment banking, or related fields).

Proven experience building, scaling, or redesigning a strategic account or key client program

— not just managing accounts.

Strong understanding of client development, enterprise relationships, and commercial growth strategy.

Ability to influence senior leadership and drive action across teams without direct authority.

Expert problem solving, project management, research/analytics, and executive communication skills.

Comfort working in fast‑paced, highly matrixed environments with confidential and sensitive information.

Compensation $130,000 - $200,000

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job‑related qualifications.
