Sr. Manager FP&A

Purpose of the job The Sr Manager of FP&A will be the sole lead finance person and report to the CFO. The Sr Manager of FP&A is responsible for budget, forecast, and management reporting. This critical leadership role will oversee the preparation, accuracy, and strategic insight behind financial reporting and planning processes across Rani Therapeutics. The Sr Manager will play a key role in driving financial transparency, executive reporting, and decision support at the company level.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
Own corporate-level FP&A processes for budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning.
Lead the preparation and management of the annual operating plan, long‑range financial plan, and routine forecast updates.
Prepare financial statements and executive dashboards for senior leadership.
Develop and manage robust processes and controls to ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data across functional groups.
Provide strategic financial insights and variance analysis related to performance, including revenue, OPEX, EBITDA, and cash flow.
Partner closely with Accounting, Tax, and functional department teams to align on financial results and ensure consistent assumptions.
Manage and improve the financial planning system and tools.
Support ad hoc financial analysis, scenario modeling, and executive decision‑making as required, including business development and licensing agreements.

Education and/or Job Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum of 10+ years of FP&A experience or equivalent experience.
Skills and Specifications
Excellent financial modeling and analysis skills.
Experience with QAD GL system a plus.
Prior experience in medical device or healthcare industry a plus.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
People management with a focus on engagement and development.
Successful in supporting and interacting with senior‑level executives.
Operate as a team and/or independently while demonstrating versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.
