This is rooted in the EY SAP service line capabilities (Supply Chain, FICO, BPC, Data & Analytics, Customer, Tech/Arch, and SuccessFactors) that help clients improve performance and increase productivity.

In this role, you will design and apply comprehensive methods and practices to govern the entire lifecycle of data assets, ensuring their protection and monetisation. You will perform maturity assessments on data management capabilities and advise on tools and roadmaps, all while aligning data strategies with business objectives.

Your Key Responsibilities

Lead engagement delivery and manage client relationships on a daily basis.

Develop resource plans and budgets for engagements, ensuring effective engagement economics.

Exercise judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining results.

Proven ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Experience leading teams and managing organisational change within complex organisations.

Commercial acumen and negotiation skills to identify new opportunities.

Ability to initiate the requirement gathering, architect solutions, blueprinting, testing, and complete the workflow and documentation, as well as the functional design of the solution.

Liaise with stakeholders and technical team to translate needs into business solutions and complete configurations and/or integrations with SAP and non‑SAP systems.

Proven ability to construct and direct technology projects in line with organisational goals.

Expertise in project and programme delivery methodologies, with the ability to mentor and develop others.

Strong analytical skills to develop creative solutions for complex problems.

Strategic thinking to drive sales, business growth, and client satisfaction.

To Qualify for the Role

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.

Typically, no less than 5‑7 years of relevant experience working with one or more SAP modules with full‑cycle implementations inside your core module.

Strong knowledge of Data Privacy principles.

Expertise in Master Data Management practices.

Experience with Data Governance frameworks.

Familiarity with Enterprise Data Strategy and Data Management concepts.

Proficiency in Metadata Management.

Understanding of Ontology Design.

Knowledge of IT Operating Models.

Familiarity with Data Fabric concepts.

Prior consulting experience.

Specialised skills in Data Fabric, Data Governance, Enterprise IT Architecture, and other data management disciplines.

Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills.

Experience managing SAP projects or work streams and project‑based team members.

Knowledge of leading practices, benchmarking, peer company environments and prior advisory experience relevant to industry‑specific finance and technology functions.

Ability and comfort‑level researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices and new technologies.

Proven experience providing governance and leadership oversight for enterprise SAP data migration programmes.

A willingness to travel to meet client needs.

Ideally, You’ll Also Have

Experience with Data Office Organisation and IT Architecture.

Familiarity with Digital Fluency and Hybrid Collaboration techniques.

Strong emotional agility to navigate complex interpersonal dynamics.

Experience with enterprise SAP Data Migration, Master Data Governance and Data Analytics is highly preferred.

A proactive approach to identifying and solving client issues.

What We Offer You

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognised for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $144,000 to $329,100. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $172,800 to $374,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.

In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
