$90.00/hr - $120.00/hr
Position Overview We’re seeking a seasoned Cloud Strategy Leader to guide and evolve our cloud infrastructure with a strong focus on Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role will involve driving innovation, leading scalable platforms, and championing best practices across teams, as well as lines of business. You’ll be instrumental in exploring emerging technologies, nurturing technical talent, and aligning cloud solutions with organizational goals. Lead cloud initiatives, leveraging AWS services to meet organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities
Spearhead cloud transformation initiatives using AWS to meet enterprise requirements.
Act as a mentor to technical team members, encouraging continuous learning and innovation.
Evaluate and integrate cutting-edge tools and services to enhance cloud capabilities.
Architect systems with a focus on reliability, security, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
Partner with teams across the organization to ensure alignment of infrastructure with business direction.
Implement governance standards for cloud usage, including compliance and identity management.
Share insights and strategies in internal forums, contributing to a knowledge-sharing culture.
Produce clear documentation and educational resources to build internal expertise.
Core Skills & Experience
Deep knowledge of core AWS services (compute, storage, networking, and identity management).
Hands‑on experience serverless architecture and microservices (e.g., AWS Lambda, EKS).
Strong background in infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
Familiarity with container platforms such as Kubernetes and Docker.
Solid understanding of cloud security principles, access controls, and regulatory requirements.
Proven track record in implementing CI/CD pipelines and automation strategies.
Effective communicator with the ability to lead and mentor across technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
At least 6 years of professional experience in cloud‑centric IT roles.
Minimum 3 years working directly with AWS services and automation ecosystem.
Experience with event‑driven architectures, streaming platforms, or edge compute technologies.
Exposure to machine learning workflows or large‑scale data infrastructure.
Demonstrated skills in cost optimization and cloud performance engineering.
Strong foundation in orchestration tools and scalable container environments.
Eligibility Note Candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents (Green Card holders) to be considered.
