Job Description
Pay Range: $58hr - $65.51hr
Requirement/Must Have
3+ years of hands‑on experience in an electronics lab performing PVT or HAST/HTOL‑type testing on FPGAs, SoCs, or high‑speed digital boards.
Proficiency with Python, Tcl, or Perl scripting for test automation.
Experience working with thermal chambers, thermal stream systems, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, VNAs, TDRs, programmable power supplies, and SMUs.
Strong troubleshooting skills to isolate issues related to silicon, board, package, power delivery, or thermal performance.
Familiarity with FPGA tools such as Vivado Lab Edition, Hardware Manager, and ILA/VIO.
Ability to read schematics, identify test points, and probe high‑density boards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience
Running PVT characterization in lab environments.
Performing DC and AC parametric testing, margin testing, and shmoo plotting.
Working with multi‑layer high‑speed digital boards.
Automating tests using scripting languages and instrument control libraries.
Collaborating with SI/PI, board design, and silicon validation teams.
Responsibilities
Execute PVT characterization on FPGA families across multiple technology nodes.
Operate and maintain environmental chambers, thermal systems, oscilloscopes, TDRs, VNAs, and power supplies.
Develop and maintain automation scripts for instrumentation, thermal control, and FPGA interactions.
Perform shmoo testing across voltage, temperature, and process corners.
Collect, post‑process, analyze, and document large data sets.
Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and root‑cause failures.
Assist in debugging high‑speed memory interfaces under worst‑case PVT conditions.
Document procedures, issues, and resolutions, and maintain version‑controlled automation code.
Should Have
Ability to work independently in a hands‑on lab environment.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
Understanding of digital design concepts and FPGA architecture.
Skills

Instrument automation and control.
FPGA tools and JTAG programming.
Data visualization and analysis.
