Health Solutions Senior Consultant
in Tampa, Jacksonville or Miami, FL. This hybrid role offers flexibility to work virtually and from a local office.
What The Day Will Look Like As an Assistant Vice President, you will serve as the Lead Consultant on the Health Solutions client team, collaborating with the Account Executive to deliver innovative and effective solutions for health and welfare benefits strategies. You will act as the primary daily contact for clients, oversee the client team, manage projects, and facilitate strategy execution, including special projects as needed.
Delegate assignments to team members and perform peer review of their work.
Actively participate in analysis, drafting client presentations, attending client meetings, and identifying client needs for additional services.
Leverage internal Aon teams—actuarial, audit, legal, and specialized broking—to lead integrated efforts.
Build and maintain relationships with the client’s vendor partners.
Stay informed about healthcare market trends and innovations.
Utilize the appropriate resources to resolve client issues.
Mentor, coach, and guide junior staff.
Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success
Ten or more years of experience in the group health and benefits industry with a strong working knowledge of benefits.
Excellent organizational and project management skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong analytical and presentation skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
Appropriate insurance license (life/health); can be fulfilled post‑hire.
Project management certification is a plus.
Pay Transparency Laws The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $104,000 to $138,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. This position is also eligible for Aon’s annual incentive plans, which provide discretionary bonuses in addition to base salary.
