Base pay range $80,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr

Job Description The Functional Consultant will serve as a key contributor to executive-level projects, providing expertise in initiative management, business process development, business re-engineering, and strategic business initiatives. This role requires strong project management, analytical, and communication skills to deliver high-quality outcomes within complex, time-sensitive environments.

Key Responsibilities

Provide guidance and strategic direction for executive-level projects focused on initiative management, business process development, re-engineering, and strategic business objectives.

Manage complex projects, ensuring completion within estimated timeframes and resource constraints.

Coordinate tasks among stakeholders, reviewing work products for completeness, quality, and alignment with customer requirements.

Interpret and apply Government policies, regulations, and directives to project activities as directed by the Project Manager or designee.

Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with executive-level personnel to present findings, recommendations, and project updates.

Conduct research, analysis, and business process modeling, maintaining results in DOORS (Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System).

Qualifications

Education: BA/BS or MA/MS degree.

Experience: 3-10 years of relevant experience in project management, business process modeling, or functional consulting.

Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex projects with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction with strict timelines and resource constraints.

Capability to coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure adherence to project goals and requirements.

Strong research, analytical, and business process modeling skills.

Proficiency in DOORS for maintaining process models.

Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with executive stakeholders.

Knowledge of Government policies, regulations, and directives is a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in delivering comprehensive, high-quality work products.
