Litigation Associate – Professional Liability & General Litigation
to join their team, handling a diverse caseload across multiple practice areas. This position offers the opportunity to work with high-profile clients while gaining courtroom experience and advancing your litigation career in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a varied docket that includes
professional liability, medical malpractice, dental malpractice, public entity defense, general liability, and employment matters .
Handle
depositions, motion practice, hearings, and oral arguments
with increasing independence.
Draft and respond to pleadings, discovery, motions, and briefs.
Develop case strategy and provide risk assessment in collaboration with partners.
Represent clients in state and federal courts, as well as before administrative bodies.
Maintain direct communication with clients, experts, and opposing counsel.
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school
and active California Bar membership.
3–6 years of litigation experience , preferably in professional liability or civil defense.
Prior deposition and courtroom experience required (motions, hearings, arguments).
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Exceptional professionalism, client service skills, and collaborative approach.
Hybrid work schedule available after training.
Salary range of
$160,000 – $180,000 , depending on experience.
