Job Overview Wipro is seeking a Network Engineer L3 to administer and implement LAN & WAN solutions worldwide as part of the Global Network Project Implementation Team. The role involves configuring and troubleshooting network devices, ensuring security and redundancy for new Offshore Development Centers (ODCs) and enterprise projects.

Responsibilities

Administer and manage Wipro LAN & WAN across the globe.

Implement and configure routers, switches, NMS tools, Wi‑Fi devices from vendors such as Cisco, Avaya, and Brocade.

Configure devices per hardening guidelines and project requirements.

Troubleshoot network and security issues within project scope.

Design and implement network infrastructure for new ODCs, ensuring appropriate security levels and redundancy.

Set up ODC connectivity including MPLS, client‑to‑site VPN, and site‑to‑site VPN (router‑based).

Handle implementations for project movements, point‑to‑point link establishment, and new Wipro locations (LAN/WAN/Internet architecture).

Coordinate with ISPs, clients, and onsite technical teams for MPLS, VPN, and other links, and resolve connectivity issues.

Validate the technical feasibility of network design plans submitted by the design team and provide improvement suggestions.

Use NMS tools and routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP; configure MPLS VRF, and apply switching protocols including STP and QoS.

Implement solutions following ISO 20000 & 27001 and Wipro IRMC guidelines, adhering to incident, change, and capacity management procedures.

Lead and participate in S0 calls and outages until resolution.

Qualifications

5+ years of network engineering experience (equivalent to a CCNP certification).

Strong multitasking ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience with network design validation and hardening.

Familiarity with ISO standards and change management processes.

Experience 3‑5 Years.

Compensation The expected compensation ranges from $45,000 to $110,000, depending on location, experience, and internal metrics. Wipro offers standard benefits including medical, dental, disability insurance, paid time off, and additional leave options.
