Clinical Manager II – RN
– Johns Hopkins Community Physicians, Baltimore, MD 21201 Responsibilities
Assist the Practice Administrator with daily clinical operations of East Baltimore Medical Center and act as Practice Administrator in their absence. Manage clinical staff, including budgeting, scheduling, safety, environment of care, and maintenance of adequate clinical supply levels. Float between pediatric, family practice, and adult medicine departments to support operational flexibility. Lead and support pay‑for‑performance programs such as Value Based Purchasing, Patient Centered Medical Home, and meaningful use, ensuring compliance with organizational goals. Drive continuous improvement of clinical operations through customer service excellence, operational efficiency, and financial viability. Model positive leadership, foster a supportive work environment, and promote a culture of safety and quality. Qualifications
Baccalaureate degree in Nursing (2:1 ratio of experience may substitute); equivalency requires 8 years of education plus 1 year supervisory/management experience for a total of 9 years of healthcare experience. Two years of healthcare management experience with direct supervision of staff; ambulatory care experience highly preferred. Current, unrestricted RN licensure in Maryland and other jurisdictions as required. Valid CPR certification required upon hire and recertification required every two years. Salary Range:
Minimum 56.34/hour – Maximum 87.32/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
