Manager, Financial Due Diligence and Deal Advisory – Private Equity
Base pay range: $150,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr
Additional compensation: Annual Bonus
Our client, a global investment organization with a large and diversified private markets platform, is seeking a Manager, Financial Due Diligence and Deal Advisory to join its Investment Services team. This group supports the firm’s private equity, credit, real assets, and multi‑strategy investments by developing scalable processes, building operating frameworks, and driving financial and infrastructural planning across the portfolio. The team plays a central role in transaction execution, overseeing elements such as due diligence, deal structuring, regulatory operations, valuations, tax considerations, and financial reporting.
As a Manager, Financial Due Diligence and Deal Advisory, you will support the end‑to‑end execution of private markets transactions across multiple asset classes. You’ll serve as a key partner to deal teams, guiding them through financial and operational requirements to ensure timely closings and a smooth investment lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Serve as a primary point of contact for deal execution, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external advisors
Deliver financial due diligence and broader transaction advisory support across assigned private asset classes
Assess investment structures and manage operational and financial feasibility during acquisitions and divestments
Oversee cross‑functional workstreams and ensure that onboarding and off‑boarding activities are executed efficiently
Partner with investment, operations, tax, legal, and compliance teams to support all aspects of the transaction lifecycle
Manage end‑to‑end closing activities, including funding coordination with operations teams and banking partners
Contribute to global transformation initiatives that enhance scale and standardization in deal management
Identify workflow gaps and propose process or technology improvements to strengthen operational effectiveness
Qualifications
At least four years of experience in deal advisory, due diligence, or transaction management, ideally within private equity or infrastructure
Solid understanding of private investment closing mechanics, investment structuring, documentation, and control frameworks
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field; accounting certification and Big Four training preferred
Strong analytical abilities with a detail‑oriented approach and the capacity to manage complex situations
Excellent time‑management skills with the ability to handle multiple transactions and deadlines concurrently
Effective communication and stakeholder‑management skills across internal and external partners
A proactive, curious mindset and comfort working in a fast‑paced, cross‑regional environment
