Base pay range $150,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

We are partnering with a national law firm specialized in defense litigation that is seeking an experienced attorney for its Plano office! This is a wonderful opportunity to join a large firm with sophisticated business clients and intricate litigation work.

Responsibilities

Represent clients in all stages of civil litigation, including pre-trial preparation, discovery, depositions, motions, trials, and appeals.

Develop and execute effective litigation strategies to achieve optimal results for clients.

Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and settlement agreements.

Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation and court proceedings.

Provide sound legal advice to clients, clearly communicating complex legal concepts and potential risks.

Collaborate closely with team members to ensure a coordinated and efficient approach to case management.

Participate in business development activities, building and maintaining strong client relationships.

Stay informed of current legislation, court decisions, and industry trends that may impact clients and cases.

Uphold the highest ethical standards and comply with all professional conduct rules.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation, with a proven track record of success in the courtroom.

Excellent litigation skills, including experience with trials, depositions, discovery, and motion practice.

Strong legal research and writing skills, with the ability to draft clear, concise, and persuasive legal documents.

Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and team members.

High level of professionalism and ethical standards.

Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and work under tight deadlines.

Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Commitment to client service and a passion for achieving positive outcomes for clients.
