Regulatory Compliance Manager (Healthcare) Monsey, NY (Onsite) $50–$70/hour (approx. $105K–$150K DOE) Full-Time highly preferred, but may consider flexible hours

Position Overview A home care organization is seeking a

mid-level, hands‑on Regulatory Compliance Manager

to support the Chief Compliance Officer. This role owns day‑to‑day compliance operations; managing audits, addressing complaints, reviewing contracts, and ensuring regulatory alignment across all departments. Training on home care regulations will be provided, but you must bring strong

compliance and audit experience

and be

fully self‑sufficient

in carrying out compliance responsibilities.

The Ideal Candidate

Self-directed, proactive, and operates confidently with minimal supervision

Experience interacting directly with regulatory bodies (DOH, OMIG, Joint Commission, IRS, SEC, etc.)

Skilled in preparing for and managing audits

Strong in complaint handling, including sensitive issues (e.g., harassment)

Able to draft and implement policies and procedures

Comfortable reviewing contracts and working with attorneys when needed

Excellent communication and follow‑through

Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of juggling multiple deadlines

Comfortable in a high‑volume, fast‑paced healthcare environment

Interested in future growth and potential leadership within compliance

Key Responsibilities Regulatory Compliance & Audits

Prepare for and manage regulatory audits and reviews

Track, interpret, and implement new regulations

Complaint & Incident Management

Receive, investigate, and document complaints from staff, aides, and patients

Recommend corrective actions and ensure proper follow‑through

Policies, Procedures & Training

Draft, update, and implement compliance policies

Communicate requirements to managers and department heads

Coordinate and track compliance‑related trainings

Contracts & Legal Coordination

Review contracts for compliance implications

Collaborate with legal counsel on escalated matters

Cross‑Functional Compliance Support

Partner with all departments to maintain consistent compliance practices

Assist the Chief Compliance Officer with reporting, audits, and initiatives

Growth Opportunity

Potential to help build out the compliance department and eventually oversee additional staff

Qualifications & Must-Haves Required

3+ years’ compliance experience

Direct experience with audits and interactions with regulators

Strong investigation and documentation skills

Policy drafting and implementation experience

Excellent communication abilities

Demonstrated independence and problem‑solving

Nice to Have

Healthcare or home care industry experience

Familiarity with DOH, OMIG, Joint Commission, HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid

Experience reviewing contracts

Experience in a high‑growth or high‑volume organization
