Hayward Holdings, the global leader in residential pool equipment, seeks a senior engineering executive to lead all New Product Development and Sustaining Engineering for gas heaters and heat pumps at its Nashville facility. This role sets the technical direction, oversees execution excellence, and drives long‑term innovation for combustion systems and heat‑pump electrification.
Responsibilities
Lead engineering for gas heaters and heat pumps, including NPD and sustaining activities.
Set technical strategy, product roadmaps, and long‑term technology direction.
Manage a multidisciplinary team and drive innovation, quality, and execution discipline.
Oversee validation, safety, thermal performance, and regulatory/emissions compliance.
Partner with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and regulatory teams for smooth launches.
Build engineering capabilities in combustion, thermal science, and modeling/simulation.
Manage external engineering partners and oversee make/buy decisions.
Ensure compliance, risk management, and alignment with evolving regulations.
Qualifications
12+ years engineering leadership; strong HVAC/heating/thermal or combustion experience.
Proven product commercialization and program governance.
BS in Mechanical Engineering required; MS preferred.
