We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and hands‑on Sales Engineer with a strong background in industrial automation. The ideal candidate will support our sales efforts and drive growth in the robotic automation sector through a deep understanding of the capital equipment sales cycle across multiple channels. The ability to develop accurate equipment quotes based on site visits is essential. Strong manufacturing knowledge—especially in robotics—along with a proven track record in account management and sales are critical for success in this role. Location Requirements
The candidate for this role will need to be located in the Mid-West of the United States with access to a major airport. Key Responsibilities
Execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets within the robotic material removal market. Identify new business opportunities and conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends. Introduce new end‑user customers to our technology and support their long‑term automation initiatives. Attend industry conferences and trade shows to promote our solutions and expand our market presence. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and providing tailored solutions. Perform client site visits to document automation needs, conduct site analysis, and support application engineering activities. Attend customer demonstrations at our Dallas or Montreal facilities as required. Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations that clearly communicate the value of our world‑class solutions. Technical Sales & Project Support
Work closely with machine builders and system integrators to specify and quote the correct equipment for their projects. Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to ensure customer requirements are fully understood and executed. Develop accurate, detailed equipment quotes based on site visits, application assessments, and technical requirements. Reporting & Market Insights
Provide regular reports on sales performance, customer activity, market developments, and competitive insights to senior management. Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales or account management within the robotics or industrial automation industry; experience with fabrication or material removal applications is a significant asset. Strong technical expertise in robotic cells, automation systems, and material removal processes, with the ability to translate customer needs into engineered solutions. Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a capital equipment or automation environment. Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and negotiate effectively. Demonstrated ability to manage complex customer opportunities throughout the capital equipment sales cycle. Self‑motivated, resourceful, and able to work independently or collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
