Regional Sales Manager Overview
Our client is a leading provider of industrial packaging and material handling solutions and they are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to join their growing team. This role is ideal for a sales professional with experience in capital equipment and a passion for solving complex customer challenges.
Key Responsibilities for Regional Sales Manager
Client Engagement : Respond to inquiries from major manufacturers (e.g., consumer goods, building materials) initiating capital projects.
Site Visits : Travel to customer locations across the U.S. and Canada
Sales Process Management : Provide timely and accurate proposals, follow up on quotes, and guide clients through the decision-making process.
Opportunity Development : Identify new business opportunities through trade show connections, inbound inquiries, and industry networking.
Technical Collaboration : Work closely with engineering and project management teams to ensure proposed solutions meet customer needs and technical feasibility.
Qualifications for Regional Sales Manager
3+ years of experience in capital equipment sales or industrial manufacturing
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Engineering background highly preferred (mechanical or electrical)
Familiarity with manufacturing environments and equipment integration
Ability to travel regularly for short-duration site visits
Experience working with CAD teams and understanding technical drawings is a plus
