Head of Sales | Managing Director - Tech Practice
New York City (FiDi) | 4 days/week in office
Base pay range:
$130,000.00/yr – $220,000.00/yr
Agency recruitment experience (staffing/search) is required. Candidates coming only from internal/corporate TA will not be considered. This client is hiring ASAP!
What you’ll do
Lead and grow the Tech team in NYC.
Coach, mentor and develop junior salespeople.
Own and drive a 60/40 contract–perm mix.
Maintain a personal book of business while leading a sales team.
Set and manage performance targets, pipeline, and activity metrics.
Partner closely with senior leadership on strategy, headcount planning, and growth initiatives for the Tech practice.
Leverage the firm’s global brand, infrastructure, and resources to win new clients and deepen existing relationships.
What they’re looking for
7+ years of agency recruitment experience in a staffing/search firm, ideally leading or having led a Tech practice.
Track record as a strong producer while managing or mentoring others.
Financial Services industry exposure is a plus.
Strong leadership presence and a hands‑on mindset.
Based in (or willing to relocate to) NYC, with the ability to be in the office 4 days per week.
Compensation
Base salary: $130K–$220K, depending on experience. (For an 8‑10‑year producer, base around $160K is realistic)
Total compensation will be highly competitive for a proven Tech recruitment leader.
Uncapped commission.
Quarterly bonus.
