What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Identify new sales opportunities and build relationships with various institutions to enable growth across Prosper's funding base
Design and implement proactive sales strategies to meet revenue targets
Manage all aspects of the sales cycle, collaborating with the executive team as necessary
Structure and negotiate Capital Markets transactions, including whole loan sales and securitizations
Develop and maintain monthly and quarterly forecasting for potential investor sales
What is Required (Qualifications)
10+ years of experience in institutional relationship establishment, fundraising, and transaction management
Strong proficiency in traditional and alternative investment products
Deep industry knowledge of the marketplace lending landscape and key players
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing start-up environment
BA/BS degree in a related field (Economics, Finance, or Accounting); MBA/CFA is desired
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Existing experience and relationships with bank, insurance company, or asset management clients
Willingness to learn new skills and embrace a team-first culture
Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills; knowledge of SQL and AI tools is a plus
Clear awareness of key items affecting institutional investors
An established network of industry relationships and stakeholders
