THE ROLE We are looking for a Wella Education Manager to join our North America Brand Education team. This role is responsible for managing and developing Wella Professionals Haircare, Nioxin, Sebastian, Briogeo, and advises the needs of NA Education fit-to-win requirements, creating best in class education content, seminars and tools (digital and face to face) to win with Education in the NA market landscape. The incumbent will partner closely with the commercial team to ensure all training tools are created with a competitive edge.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Owns and Develops Wella Education content and material from end- to- end for all care brands (digital and analog) for various customer channels’ needs and requirements at all Education Touch Points (salons, stores, digital, studios, shows & Events, and schools).

Leads the launches and key initiatives based on GTM plans for Care brands, including restages.

Collaborates with the NA Brand Team, Trade Marketing, and Field Education teams to develop best-in-class color education tied to the marketing initiative and base business goals.

Responsible for relaunch of Sebastian, full line, in the US end to end. Execute with excellence to ensure success.

Produces Wella education content for various retail partners, digital / e-com platforms, & brick and mortar stores.

Manages logistics for technical & digital production content.

Partners with field Education team to capture the needs for each trade channel and has a clear understanding of what classes and formats need to be developed in the NA landscape.

Develops and maintains a strong social media presence and up to date knowledge of the ever-evolving landscape.

Maintains digital platform with up to date Wella Education material and content.

Stays up to date on competitive brands product launches and education initiatives.

Supports the ongoing capability and communication for brand Artists.

Organizes, writes, and develops multimedia visual aids, and other educational and training materials.

QUALIFICATIONS

College Degree and 5+ years of experience in similar role or capacity.

Licensed hair professional (min 5 years).

Experience with program development (concepts, go to market, new capabilities (i.e. digital, etc) programs for product initiatives and education programs).

Training experience with strong presentation skills and public speaking.

Excellent collaboration and strong project management skills.

Strategic and Analytical thinking.

Experience with Budget management.

Good understanding of competitive landscape of other companies in regards to education and understanding how to develop program to meet market needs with a clear point of difference.

Valid drivers license, vehicle proof of insurance, and ability to drive and travel long distances for extended periods.

Knowledge/Experience of the Professional Salon industry.

Computer proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
