Summary As an Anesthesia Tech, your excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality control helps you to manage anesthesia equipment and supplies, while assisting with daily functions of the Anesthesia Department.

Responsibilities
Equipment Management: Maintain all anesthesia equipment; manage quality control by recognizing malfunctioning equipment and taking necessary action; perform minor equipment repairs and preventive maintenance.
Procedure Assistance: Prepare anesthesia equipment and supplies for use; calibrate and check equipment accurately before each use; assist with procedures as assigned; stock anesthesia carts with high‑risk medications (may handle meds, sharps and syringes); maintain a clean, safe and adequately supplied workroom.
Maintain Ideal Working Operations: Contribute to maintenance of supply inventory, ensure adequate levels of available supplies and complete monthly pharmacy inspections.
