Job Description A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a
Power Systems Modeling Design Engineer
(Full Time Contract, 12 months, Everett, WA) to work with Electrical Power Systems engineering and adjacent groups.
Responsibilities
Work with Electrical Power Systems engineering and adjacent groups to establish program, system and sub-system support of Electrical Sub-Systems team in areas of Aircraft Power System Modelling and Simulation.
Assist team members with modelling and simulation of the aircraft power system, active and passive power conversion equipment, motor controllers, electric motors and generators, power distribution and protection equipment. Perform all necessary simulation work to assess system power quality, characterize failure modes of the equipment and the power system, and design and validate system protections.
Assist team members with technical requirements development.
Extensively develop and document complex electric power system requirements and validate them through simulation and test.
Have previous electrical equipment systems design experience; in-depth knowledge of electric power systems, modeling and simulation tools, model-based design and model-based system engineering techniques and hands‑on experience with tools is necessary.
Ideal Candidate
Specialized in power systems, power electronics, and automatic controls within an avionics engineering environment.
Experience with modeling.

Pay Range and Benefits Pay Range: $65 to $70 per hour. Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
