Neuro District Manager – Boston
Johnson & Johnson is committed to delivering innovative treatments for neuropsychiatric, neurologic, and other disorders. The Company recently acquired Intra‑Cellular Therapies, Inc to become the #1 neuroscience company worldwide. The District Manager will lead a sales team in the Boston area, drive high‑impact customer interactions, and achieve sales forecasts while operating within assigned budgets.
Job Responsibilities
Recruit, select, train, and develop a high‑performance team of Neuroscience Sales Representatives.
Ensure representatives complete product strategy training and share best practices.
Set ambitious performance objectives to support business goals.
Provide daily coaching and feedback; complete coaching summaries for mid‑year and annual reviews.
Lead strategic analysis of the geography, managing resource allocation and trade‑off decisions.
Visit representatives for performance assessment and development.
Monitor regional data sets, update business plans, and maximize performance impact.
Collaborate with functional areas to address local opportunities and customer needs.
Work with the Regional Sales Director on local business plans and KPI achievement.
Complete all required company and job‑related training on time.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree.
5+ years of pharmaceutical or healthcare sales experience; launch and CNS experience highly preferred.
2+ years of field sales management experience.
Strong self‑motivation, decision‑making judgment, and teamwork skills, with resilience and adaptability.
Demonstrated success translating vision into tactical plans.
Experience interacting with KOLs, organized customers, and managed‑care organizations.
Excellent communication, presentation, and decision‑making skills; ability to motivate the team.
Deep understanding of customer segments, market dynamics, and competitive landscape in neuroscience.
Strong business analytics skills.
Willingness to travel up to 75% as required.
Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodation.
Compensation Salary range: $130,000.00 – $224,250.00 (base)
