As a Principal AI Architect specializing in Agentic AI, you will design and oversee the development of intelligent agent systems for various industry verticals as part of Zoom AI Companion (AIC). Your architectural vision will directly shape the Zoom user experience through the creation of scalable, robust frameworks and system designs.

You will establish technical standards for implementing novel algorithms that impact workplace efficiency and customer engagement across Zoom Revenue Accelerator (ZRA), Zoom Customer Experience (ZCX), and Zoom Virtual Agent (ZVA).

Responsibilities

Design comprehensive system architectures for vertical Agentic AI applications, establishing technical standards, patterns, and best practices for autonomous agents.

Develop reference architectures and integration frameworks for AI solutions that enhance meeting experiences and enable seamless human‑machine natural interactions within Zoom.

Architect scalable systems leveraging large language models (LLM) and Agentic AI frameworks for production environments.

Lead cross‑functional technical initiatives to ensure successful integration of Agentic AI solutions into Zoom's ecosystem, balancing innovation with practical implementation requirements.

Provide technical mentorship and architectural guidance to development teams and junior architects.

What We’re Looking For

Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cognitive Science, or a related field.

Have 10+ years of experience in machine learning architectures, neural network design, reinforcement learning systems, cognitive frameworks, and multi‑modal AI integration across speech, vision, and language understanding.

Have proficiency in AI‑focused programming languages (Python, C++, Java) with proven experience architecting solutions using modern AI frameworks and libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, LangChain).

Exhibit exceptional system design capabilities for complex AI problems, including the ability to architect scalable agent‑based systems that balance technical constraints with business requirements.

Showcase technical leadership and communication skills with experience translating AI concepts across technical and non‑technical stakeholders and guiding cross‑functional teams through AI implementation challenges.

Salary Range or On Target Earnings Minimum : $206,600.00

Maximum : $451,800.00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed, Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration base salary, bonus and equity value.
