This position involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring quality, managing staff, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
Job Duties
Operate all equipment
Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler
Prepare product
Receive and process telephone orders
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork
Clean equipment and facility approximately daily
Receive orientation and training on the job
Communication Skills Understand and give correct written instructions; communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers over the phone and in person.
Essential Functions/Skills
Perform accurate arithmetic for pricing and change
Verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders
Motor coordination for rapid, accurate hand movements
Enter orders using computer keyboard or touch screen
Work Conditions Exposure:
Varying and sometimes adverse weather when removing trash; in‑store temperatures 36–90 °F; fumes from food odors; exposure to cornmeal dust; hot surfaces/tools up to 500 °F; sharp edges; cramped quarters.
Sensing:
Talking and hearing on telephone; near/mid‑range vision; depth perception; ability to differentiate hot versus cold surfaces.
Temperaments:
Direct activities, repetitive tasks, work alone or with others, under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze data, make decisions.
Physical Demands
Standing, walking, sitting for paperwork; lifting up to 50 lb deliveries; carrying light items; pushing/pulling trays; climbing stairs; stooping/bending at pizza assembly station; crouching/squatting occasionally.
Additional Job Duties (Driver/Store Management)
Deliver product by car to customer door; deliver flyers and door hangers
Valid driver’s license with safe driving record; insured vehicle required
Essential Skills (Driver)
Navigational skills to read map and locate addresses
Carry pizzas, sides, beverages while walking/climbing
Drive within delivery area, making multiple deliveries per shift
Navigate five or more flights of stairs
Far vision and night vision for driving
