Job Description Job Duties
Responsible for all activities during shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations.
Maintain policy and procedure compliance at 100%, and set the example for crew.
Operate all equipment; stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
Prepare product and receive/process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete all associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and facility daily.
Manage staffing, paperwork, food management, scheduling, image standards, customer service, attendance and punctuality, transportation to/from work, store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability.
Provide training and orientation on the job.
Communication Skills
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions; verbal communication with customers and co‑workers to process orders (phone and in‑person).
Essential Functions / Skills
Accurate addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division (calculator may be used).
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Effective verbal, written, and telephone skills for order processing.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands for rapid, accurate movements.
Typing or touching screen to enter orders.
Work Conditions & Physical Demands
Exposure to varying weather conditions when removing trash and performing outside tasks.
In‑store temperatures range from 36 °F in cooler to 90 °F+ in some areas.
Fumes from food odors and cornmeal dust.
Hot surfaces/tools up to 500 °F.
Shallow quarters including walk‑in cooler; sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
Standing, walking, sitting, lifting (up to 50 lb), carrying (up to 30 lb), pushing (up to 7.5 lb), climbing stairs/ladder.
Reaching above 72 in., forward, backward, down, bending, and squatting as required.
Eye‑hand coordination for pizza dough handling, peel manipulation, cutting, and box assembly.
Additional Information Delivery expert or store management positions additionally require:
Valid driver’s license with safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to an insured vehicle for delivery.
Navigation skills to read maps and locate addresses within designated delivery area.
Capability to carry pizzas, sides, and beverages during walking, climbing, and delivery duties.
Driving within designated delivery area; ability to handle multiple deliveries per shift.
