Head of Data Management for US OPP

(Olean and Painted Post, New York), you will support the strategic development and implementation of a sustainable data landscape/backbone across the compression service organization. Your mission is to ensure data quality, availability, and accessibility to empower business decisions and operational excellence. You will collaborate across service and business functions to align data initiatives for US product lines with enterprise goals, leveraging platforms such as Teamcenter, SAP, Salesforce, and Snowflake. A key part of your role will be to understand and analyze data and its interdependencies, using it as a foundation for strategic initiatives and corporate objectives. You will support an AI team focused on simplifying processes and enhancing service delivery, with digitalization playing a central role in our strategy.

Responsibilities

Define and implement a data strategy for high‑quality, accessible, and accurate data across product lines.

Develop a scalable data backbone to support digital transformation and operational efficiency.

Analyze data structures to derive insights that align with strategic business goals.

Drive innovation through AI, machine learning, and algorithms to enhance service delivery.

Champion digitalization initiatives and support cross‑functional collaboration for data architecture alignment.

Establish data governance frameworks and lead a team of data professionals to foster innovation and growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, engineering, or related field; master’s degree or equivalent leadership experience preferred.

Minimum of 5 years in data management, digital transformation, or service process optimization. Those with more experience may be considered for a more senior level.

Strong understanding of service processes and their role in operational excellence.

Proven success in leading data initiatives and building high‑performing teams.

Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and leadership skills, with strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

Willingness to travel at least 10% domestically and internationally as needed; additional languages are a plus.

Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer‑sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Compensation & Benefits Base salary range for this position (New York): $93,400 – $133,400 with an annual incentive target of 10% of base salary. Specific offers are determined by experience, skills, certifications, and business needs.
