Site General Manager – Overview
Chromalloy Corporation, a global engineering & solutions company, seeks a Site General Manager to lead the growth and operational performance of a FAR 145 Aerospace Repair Station profit and loss business. The role focuses on safety, quality, delivery, productivity and people engagement, while implementing systems to deliver Chromalloy’s “One Chromalloy” business plan.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide day‑to‑day leadership and direction to all functional areas, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Communicate a compelling vision, engaging employees to understand expectations and deliver results.
Build a values‑based, performance‑driven culture with clear goals, training and regular performance reviews.
Optimize operational performance through planning, resource deployment, SIOP, asset and labor utilization.
Manage organizational structure, capacity and resources to meet current and future business states.
Implement and embed Chromalloy Performance Excellence (CPEx) culture and best practices.
Build trusted, collaborative customer relationships to achieve customer care and execution.
Support development of new product offerings aligned with corporate strategy and market trends.
Plan and deliver against a robust budget and business plan, achieving cost management and revenue targets.
Ensure employees understand and demonstrate cultural values, norms and standards governing success.
Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of experience leading manufacturing operations; aerospace MRO industry experience desired.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
Proven track record managing operations to achieve profitability through lean manufacturing, process management and systems maximization.
3–5+ years of successful experience managing a P&L business.
Strong leadership ability; experience building accountability in a results‑oriented environment.
Experience building and managing customer relationships in a highly competitive industry.
Experience leading cross‑functional teams to achieve business results.
