Your Job Summary
The Maintenance Director will supervise and coordinate the maintenance department to ensure environmental center compliance with federal, state, and local ordinances, regulations, and building codes. They maintain the center in a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition; ensure good repair, safety from hazards such as electrical, plumbing, ventilation, heating, and cooling systems; and oversee quality laundry service.
Responsibilities
Supervise all Environmental Services personnel and daily work in assigned areas, enhancing service levels while managing expenses, staffing, and interdepartmental resolution.
Process and maintain records of accounts payable, supplies received, equipment maintenance, and department business.
Execute the preventive maintenance program and record‑keeping systems to maintain the center at its highest level of physical function.
Maintain complete documentation of all maintenance activities, including replacement parts and materials; keep fuel supply records.
Perform routine maintenance and repair work in accordance with federal, state, and local ordinances and building codes.
Collaborate with residents, nurses, physicians, department leaders, and staff on environmental service requests, infection prevention, service resolution, and interdepartmental matters. Provide timely follow‑up and consult with management on best practices.

Qualifications
High school diploma.
One to two years of supervisory experience in a commercial establishment, with knowledge of laundry, housekeeping, or maintenance procedures.
Minimum of 2 years work experience in long‑term care preferred.
HVAC experience.
Maintenance experience.
Healthcare experience preferred; can be trained if needed.
