Director, Launch IHC Pricing

Position Overview Sandoz is a global leader in sustainable biosimilars and generic medicines, and we are entering an exciting transformative period. As Director of Launch IHC Pricing, you will manage all aspects of launch pricing for key customers, oversee price approvals for IHC customers, and develop launch pricing strategies. You will play a strategic role in pricing and engage with the Sandoz Pricing Committee on major price issues.
Responsibilities
Direct all launches for IHC and the retail market, including design, development, and maintenance of pricing strategies and supporting operations.
Develop consistent launch strategies and reporting, including WAC loading.
Approve single price challenges and coordinate review and approval by VP Pricing & Contracts or the Pricing Committee.
Monitor market activity across all products and recommend proactive price increases and defensive contracting strategies to preserve share and price.
Oversee creation and review of new product offers (NPOs) for launch products to institutional/retail customers.
Inform Commercial Operations senior management about pricing issues and assist in developing action plans for resolution.
Ensure all price challenges are fully documented for financial controls compliance.
Initiate process and system improvements within existing business frameworks to drive efficiency and profitability.
Required Qualifications
B.S./B.A. required.
7+ years of generics pricing experience with contracts and finance interaction.
Proven experience managing people and leading teams.
Strong presentation skills to senior management.
Ability to work cross‑functionally across geographies and drive multi‑department initiatives.
Process improvement mindset with focus on efficient contracting.
Strong analytical and project‑management skills using SAP, Excel, and Word.
Highly developed time‑management skills with ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree (MBA, PharmD, etc.).
Spanish or Portuguese proficiency.
Travel Requirements Up to 5% travel.
Compensation & Benefits Pay range: $185,500 – $344,500 USD per year (effective 1/1/25 through 12/31/25). Final pay depends on factors such as location, experience, and qualifications. Total compensation may include a sign‑on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards. Benefits include medical, prescription, dental, vision, retirement savings plan with company match, generous paid time off, and hybrid work flexibility.
