Mount Sinai Solutions (MSS) is a unique business unit within Mount Sinai dedicated to serving commercially insured patients, whether through direct contracting with employers and unions, or via partnerships with companies that serve them. We currently serve over 450,000 patients in the New York area, via 35+ customers and 10+ partners, and a wide range of products ranging from virtual navigation services to specialty care products to worksite health centers.

The Senior Director – Product The Senior Director – Product will lead the growth and success of Mount Sinai Solution’s direct‑to‑customer business by leading product development. The Director will build and manage our clinical products to meet market needs and stay up to date with current health‑care trends. This role will "productize" our specialty care, population health, and customer service assets into healthcare services that offer the best customer value in the market. Key responsibilities include market assessment, health‑care data analytics, product pricing and forecasting, patient journey mapping, clinical model research, reporting, and performance monitoring.
Responsibilities
Lead product strategy and prioritization
Develop and iterate on product frameworks
Manage internal stakeholders, collaborating with clinical departments to build evidence‑based products
Develop pricing strategy and align with business leaders across products and within the Mount Sinai payer strategy
Identify and manage partnerships for “buy vs build” assessment
Develop go‑to‑market strategy, including market segmentation in partnership with the customer team
Influence data structures and sources to support product build and pricing
Influence senior leadership to secure approvals of new products
Grow and manage the product team
Support broader MSS team as a senior leader
Work across Mount Sinai Solutions and the Mount Sinai Health System to deliver innovative solutions for employers, unions, and partners
Qualifications Stay up to date on best practices, healthcare trends, and employer and union requirements to best position MSS products for sales success.
Graduate degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or similar program
7‑10 years of experience with a minimum of 3 years leading product, business development or partnerships, preferably in healthcare settings
Experience with leading management consulting firms, benefits consulting firms, and/or payers is a plus
Strong analytical skills preferred
Proven team‑leadership experience
Familiarity with employer‑sponsored health plans, union health funds, or similar customer segments is a plus
Experience in a fast‑paced, corporate environment
Expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint for presentations
Expertise in Excel, Tableau and/or other analytical tools
Experience analyzing healthcare data
Strong communication and presentation skills
Self‑motivated team player
Passion for healthcare evidenced by academic or personal pursuits and professional experience

Compensation The salary range for this role is $186,000 – $270,000 annually. Actual salaries depend on experience, education, and operational need. The range does not include bonuses, incentives, differential pay or other compensation or benefits.
