Overview
Supply Chain Analyst IV role at Kaiser Permanente. Proposes and applies best standards and practices in Supply Chain and Logistics, leads compliance to relevant guidelines, and resolves and escalates inventory, asset, and vendor/supplier deficiencies. Evaluates current systems to optimize, maintain, and transform processes and creates research plans to develop new/existing business operating models according to the supply chain future state. Monitors audits of suppliers, conducts corrective actions based on audit findings, facilitates business reviews, and analyzes results on utilization, quality, inventory levels, and courier routes for projects while assessing customer satisfaction levels. Essential Responsibilities

Performs asset accounting tasks including guiding transfers and disposals, maintaining disposition records, and implementing policies to ensure accountability for asset misuse; identifies cost reduction opportunities. Ensures ongoing quality customer services by resolving moderately complex issues pertaining to vendors/suppliers, reporting, billing, merchandise, backorder problems, delivery delays, repairs, returns, and recalls; prepares reports for customers independently. Maintains adequate inventory levels by resolving issues in receipt and distribution, forecasting demand, maintaining automated inventory systems, updating reorder levels, and collaborating to ensure inventory accuracy and proper product rotation. Maintains and improves supply chain and operations by executing activities to optimize processes, develop research plans, and monitor end-to-end sourcing, procurement, and logistics. Executes purchasing strategy consistent with the national sourcing strategy: facilitates purchase requests, recommends standardization and cost-saving measures, evaluates products, and analyzes usage data to select new products independently. Ensures compliance with state/federal regulations and company policies regarding purchasing, inventory management, and distribution; produces reports for compliance monitoring and audits; implements corrective actions and training independently as needed. Manages suppliers/vendors performance and relationships; supports onboarding, contract negotiations, and serves as a point of contact; conducts corrective actions and facilitates business reviews to meet targets. Provides technical analysis and reporting services: analyzes utilization, quality, inventory levels, and courier routes; uses data tools to assess satisfaction and develop quality improvements; prepares analytical reports for departments as needed. Minimum Qualifications
Minimum two (2) years of experience with databases and spreadsheets. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Material Management, Operations Research, or related field AND minimum four (4) years of experience in purchasing, contracting, negotiations, material management, logistics, finance, or related field OR minimum seven (7) years in Materials and Inventory Control/Management, Logistics, Finance, or related field. One (1) year of experience in healthcare or another heavily regulated industry (e.g., Banking, Manufacturing). Three (3) years of experience working cross-functionally across departments, functions, or business lines. Seniority level
