Job Summary Oversees a team applying the best standards and practices in Supply Chain and Logistics, guides compliance to relevant guidelines, and drives resolution of inventory, asset, and vendor/supplier deficiencies. Implements recommendations to streamline systems and develops innovative strategies to optimize processes, transform workflows, and align with the supply chain future state. Makes key decisions based on supplier audits, implements corrective actions, facilitates business reviews, and evaluates customer satisfaction. Oversees utilization, quality, inventory levels, and courier routes for projects, and develops future‑oriented plans based on data analysis.

Essential Responsibilities

Creates and advocates for developmental opportunities, builds collaborative relationships, solicits and acts on feedback, coaches performance, and drives professional growth and succession planning.

Manages units or teams by translating business plans into tactical actions, ensures policy compliance, partners with stakeholders, builds accountability, and resolves escalated issues.

Provides long‑term asset accounting support, develops policies for cost reduction, and implements strategies to improve accountability and reduce misuse.

Improves customer service quality by creating resolution strategies for issues, backorders, delivery delays, repairs, and returns.

Maintains adequate inventory levels by managing disruptions, guiding inventory strategies, updating reorder levels, and ensuring accurate stock rotation.

Optimizes supply chain and operations by overseeing shipping logistics, carrier evaluation, and inventory system assessment, and driving research to develop new business models.

Aligns purchasing strategy with national sourcing strategy, standardizes processes, forecasts savings, and approves order quantities.

Ensures compliance with regulations and company policies, develops monitoring procedures, and plans corrective action procedures.

Maintains supplier/vendor performance, designs monitoring programs, negotiates contracts, and manages corrective actions.

Provides technical analysis and reporting for utilization, quality, inventory, and courier routes, and supports decision‑making with data.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum four (4) years of experience with databases and spreadsheets.

Minimum two (2) years of experience in a leadership role with direct reports.

Minimum four (4) years of experience managing operational or project budgets.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Material Management, Operations Research, or related field AND minimum seven (7) years of experience in purchasing, contracting, negotiations, material management, logistics, finance, or a directly related field; OR seven years of experience in materials and inventory control/management, logistics, finance, distribution, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Three (3) years of experience in healthcare or another heavily regulated industry.

Four (4) years of cross‑functional experience across departments, functions, or business lines.
