0.8 FTE Part‑time Rotating – 8 Hour R2552084 Onsite – 107430002 OP Surg Svcs OR Byers Nursing PALO ALTO, 2452 Watson Ct, California
Join our legacy of hope and innovation. We are looking for a skilled and compassionate RN who can provide hands‑on patient care in a dynamic OR environment.
What You Will Do
Establish therapeutic relationships with patients and families, providing emotional support and guidance through the peri‑operative journey.
Perform nursing assessment, interpret data, determine diagnoses, and develop individualized care plans.
Implement and evaluate nursing and medical interventions, monitoring for adverse reactions and adjusting care accordingly.
Educate patients, families, and staff on self‑care, illness prevention, and procedural expectations.
Coordinate with the surgical team to ensure timely and safe delivery of care.
Maintain critical documentation and assist in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Activate emergency protocols when necessary and collaborate with the team to resolve rapid changes in patient status.
Education & Qualifications
BSN preferred from an accredited institution.
RN licensure in the State of California (Compact State Licensure acceptable).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Licenses & Certifications
RN – Registered Nurse – State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure.
BLS – Basic Life Support.

Salary & Benefits Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $92.64 - $106.87 per hour. Additional compensation is based on experience, education, and internal equity.
