Job Responsibilities The Solutions Architect & Technical Analyst Digital Platforms is a senior hybrid role combining solution architecture, technical analysis, and hands‑on platform development to support and modernize the ADA’s digital ecosystem. This includes Sitecore, Sitefinity (BWT), ADA.org, Salesforce/Fonteva integrations, Azure hosting environments, and 53 state society websites.

This role serves as a critical bridge between business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and enterprise architecture leadership. The position leads requirements gathering, defines solution specifications, analyzes system behavior, and ensures stable daily operation of mission‑critical digital platforms.

The role includes hands‑on platform configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance, as well as major contributions to long‑range modernization initiatives such as headless CMS and omni‑channel content delivery.

This position also serves as the designated acting technical lead in the absence of the Senior Enterprise Architect, providing continuity of architectural decision‑making, technical oversight, and cross‑team leadership to maintain the stability of ADA’s digital platforms.

Must Have

Bachelor’s degree or experience in lieu of degree

8 years of experience (or 12 years in lieu of a degree) in requirements gathering, business analysis, user story creation, technical documentation

Multi‑system troubleshooting and operational support

Azure hosting, DNS, cloud‑based architecture fundamentals

Validating cross‑system integrations (Salesforce Experience Cloud / Fonteva preferred)

Producing diagrams, technical specifications, and release documentation

Working in both Agile and Waterfall environments

CMS architecture, templates, components, workflows, pipelines

API/integration fundamentals and authentication flows

Web accessibility (WCAG 2.2) and security best practices; Azure monitoring, diagnostics, and performance analysis

UX/UI design principles and comfort reading Figma files

Verbal communication, writing, analytical, collaboration, presentation, self‑starter, results‑focused, prioritization, strategic, strong analytical and requirements elicitation skills

Structured problem‑solving and diagnostic thinking

Ability to bridge business needs with technical feasibility, coordinate across cross‑functional and vendor teams, self‑direction, and attention to detail

Proficiency in M365 (MS Office) and WordPress

Travel about twice per year for 1‑3 nights per trip for occasional team/on‑site meetings, vendor meetings, or professional training related to CMS/Azure

Position may require more than the standard number of hours of work within a workweek, may require before or after hours work, may require weekend work

Nice to Have

Sitecore certification(s) and/or advanced Sitecore training in architecture, administration, or development

Sitefinity certification or equivalent experience configuring multi‑site, multi‑tenant Sitefinity environments

Formal training and practical experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud and Fonteva AMS

Experience using Google Analytics/GA4

Familiarity with additional CMS platforms (e.g., Wix, Shopify, Drupal) and exposure to headless CMS architectures, content APIs, and omni‑channel content delivery patterns

Exposure to Azure DevOps or CI/CD pipelines

Experience supporting modernization or consolidation initiatives
