Diagnostic Radiology Technologist - PRN Are you a Radiologic Technologist who thrives on utilizing your skillset in the OR environment? Do you want the flexibility to work when you are available? This position is for you! Come join our team as a PRN/Supplemental OR Rad Tech with no weekends/nights/call or holiday rotations. You will be available to pick up at least one weekday shift per month or as staffing is needed at any of the ambulatory surgery centers throughout Indianapolis. The technologist will be responsible for running C‑Arms for surgical specialties such as orthopedics, pain management, urology, and spine procedures, and will act as a liaison between the OR teams and imaging services.

Responsibilities include operating imaging equipment such as X‑ray, fluoroscopy, and portable X‑ray used in surgery; preparing patients by explaining the exam and positioning them correctly; collaborating with radiologists and physicians for accurate imaging; following radiation safety protocols; documenting patient history; staying current with continuing education; monitoring patient safety during exams; documenting information in the electronic medical record; and assisting with minimally invasive procedures as needed.

Qualifications

0–3 years of relevant experience.

Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).

Ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when routine positioning is not possible.

Active status as a Registered Technologist—Radiography, RT(R), through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or recent graduate of an approved training program in Radiologic Technology (board eligible). If board eligible, must obtain a Radiography credential within 6 months of hire.

Current Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) license as a Radiologic Technologist or a current ISDH Radiology Student Permit.
