Role and Responsibilities The Head of category management for CE in ecommerce will be responsible for overall performance, business strategy, category management, GTM, business planning, and operations. This leader will align strategy with D2C and CE Leadership to drive ecommerce sales growth, share, and enhance the consumer experience across digital channels. This leader will manage the overall CE D2C P&L, including promotion development and execution, and deliver a best-in-class digital customer experience to grow D2C share for the CE business.

Oversee the Direct-to-consumer (B2C) business for CE, including category management, promotion planning and execution, GTM, business planning, and operations

Define and align the CE B2C category strategy with SEA E-commerce and CE Leadership

Lead communication and alignment with internal/external/HQ partnerships to align strategy and targets

Lead launches and GTM, providing clarity and driving decisions across all cross-functional teams

Serve as the Promotions Subject Matter Expert, optimizing and driving promotion effectiveness to drive both top-line and bottom-line growth by partnering with PM and finance teams

Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Merchandising, Product, UI/UX, Marketing, Engineering, Operations, Analytics, and Customer Service to create a best-in-class consumer experience and successful execution

Champion continuous improvement and optimization to drive growth with data-driven insights across the business including traffic, merchandising, funnel, promo, CEJ, fulfillment operations, and customer service

Drive alignment on monthly/quarterly/annual targets and quarterly strategic plan

Partner with LOB leadership and supply chain planning and aging

Lead CE business process and drive decisions for platform migration

Lead business reviews with Ecommerce, CE business and HQ

Think creatively, leverage data, and build insights to develop scalable products and promotions that drive business growth. Create business cases to accelerate category growth and develop functional capabilities for testing, learning, and iterating

Manage a high-performing team, focusing on scaling and developing talent to achieve business objectives

Work at all levels in the organization to translate business strategy to execution

Skills and Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:

16+ years of experience in ecommerce business, category management, business planning, digital sales & operations

Bachelor's degree required; an MBA from a top-tier college will be a plus

Prior experience of working with consumer electronics/telecom/technology/retail companies is highly desired

Minimum 4 years of Supply chain/business planning experience for e-commerce preferred

Minimum 10+ years of people management experience is needed

Prior experience in eCommerce business practices and operations. Digital UI/UX enhancements are a plus

Experience in leading cross-functional teams and matrixed organizations

Must have strong analytical, data-driven problem-solving with critical thinking and decision-making skills

Must be knowledgeable with e-commerce technologies/platforms and analytics

Exposure and knowledge of AI and its applications for e-commerce is a plus

Ability to work under pressure and deadlines. In addition, one must be able to manage multiple projects and often competing priorities.

Entrepreneurial spirit and excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

Must have experience with Microsoft Standard Office Suite and extensive use of Windows presentation software

The salary range for this role is expected to be between $258,000 and $319,500. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
