We are seeking a Superintendent that is looking for a company where they can learn and grow.

What you’ll do: The Superintendent is responsible for all the field staff on a project and will make sure that projects are built according to plans and specifications, supervising work of carpenters, laborers and subcontractors. They are responsible, along with Project Managers, for having the material, tools/equipment, information and staff requirements on the job site in the proper place in a timely fashion. The Superintendent handles all correspondence and forms required by the rand* office—e.g., daily reports, time sheets, safety reports, accident reports. They will monitor the work being performed, direct the subcontractors and schedule all work according to the requirements of the project schedule.

The ideal candidate will be a visible, integral team member in our DC market and in our nationwide footprint—supporting commercial and SCIF projects.

Education & Experience Requirements

8 years experience as lead superintendent on SCIF, commercial interior, retail, renovation projects

Experience in SCIF construction: knowledge of TEMPEST requirements

Expertise in secure facility construction and working knowledge of ICD/ICS 705 guidelines

High school diploma and two years of college preferred; or equivalent years of experience required

Proven track record of independent judgment and decision‑making when faced with matters of confidential or non‑routine nature

Qualified Candidates Will

Display exemplary performance in all project safety related categories

Interface with the client and client’s leadership team at the highest level on schedule, updates, and challenges while effectively communicating plans and alternative solutions

Periodically audit jobsites during site walks to ensure standards are being met

Assist teams with complex and specialty quality control issues

Assist teams with pre‑punch walks to check quality and ensure a smooth/timely punch list process

Act as point of contact to clients, facility security officers, and special security officers

Perform other duties as assigned
