National Security Sector's (NSS) Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA) . Our team leads in Security Engineering, Computer Network Operations (CNO), Mission Software, Analytical Methods and Modeling, Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), and Cryptographic Key Management. Job Description Exciting opening for a SME Information Assurance Specialist to support a large customer organization in the fast‑growing National Security Group. This position is located in
Bethesda, MD . Candidates must presently possess a TS/SCI Polygraph security clearance.
Responsibilities
Provide expert guidance in all areas of information assurance, system integration, and program management to enable high‑level decisions about future IT systems across the Integrated Command (IC).
Develop assessment criteria (metrics, measures, key performance indicators) for security requirements and implementation guidance.
Participate in external cybersecurity governance, policy, and standards bodies.
Evaluate existing and emerging technologies and recommend strategies to support mission requirements.
Provide talking points at a senior level for leadership.
Act as an SME sounding board for discussions on future IT enhancements, developments, and influence real decisions on future IT directions.
Provide input and guidance on current and future IC SoCCs.
Provide feedback on integration activities across the entire IT portfolio.
Provide cutting‑edge input on areas of future investment for the customer.
Basic Qualifications
TS/SCI with polygraph.
Experience in the cybersecurity responsibilities listed above.
MS degree and 15–20 years of relevant experience.
Detail‑oriented, consistently producing high‑quality, concise, thorough, and accurate products.
Extensive experience performing Assessment & Authorization with Greenlight.
Desired Qualifications
Familiarity with SCOR/CIRT/SCEC waivers, IC SSC reporting and Jetstream, Xacta, Altitude.
Pay Range Pay Range: $154,050.00 – $278,475.00 (general guideline only; actual compensation determined by responsibilities, experience, education, and internal equity).
