Our client located in Newport Beach is a software and consulting company with long‑standing client relationships and an emerging products division. Their primary expertise is in application development, data visualization, Information Technology (IT), and they serve large financial firms, utilities and federal customers. They are urgently seeking a strong SAP FI/CO Analyst to join their team of analysts on a long‑term contract‑to‑hire basis.
This is a 12–18‑month CTH opportunity. The position requires onsite work 5 days a week in Newport Beach, CA. Candidates must be able to work directly on a W2 basis with us without sponsorship and not through another organization or C2C.
Required Skills & Experience
10–12 years of experience as a Senior SAP FI/CO Analyst, including at least two full lifecycles implementations.
Deep expertise in core FI/CO areas: New GL, AR/AP, Lease Accounting, Special Ledger, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Internal Orders; extensive SAP ECC 6.0 experience.
Strong post‑implementation support experience, including period‑end close activities.
Familiarity with SAP consolidation tools (BCS or BPC).
Understanding of SAP development objects (Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms) and their integration with FI/CO.
Solid grasp of financial and managerial accounting principles and their application within SAP.
Ability to create detailed functional requirements, test cases, and documentation.
Skilled in evaluating SAP Finance modules to recommend improvements or customizations.
Experience with Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) or P2P solutions and their integration with FI/CO.
Desired Skills & Experience
Previous experience with asset management.
Previous experience with financial trading.
What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown
SAP and FICO analysis.
Extensive SAP ECC 6.0.
Daily Responsibilities
Research, design, configure, test, and deploy SAP FI/CO solutions.
Provide daily SAP support and maintenance for users across multiple regions.
Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and project implementations.
Troubleshoot and resolve FI/CO issues to maintain consistent operational performance.
