Our client located in Newport Beach is a software and consulting company with long-standing client relationships and an emerging products division. Their primary expertise is in application development, data visualization, Information Technology (IT), and their clients include large financial firms, utilities and Federal customers. They are urgently seeking a strong SAP FI/CO Analyst to join their team of Analysts on a long‑term contract to hire basis. They are one of the top financial trading and asset management companies in the US and offer a wide variety of skills development, big financial industry knowledge and the ability to expand your career and growth within the financial sector. This position would require working onsite 5 days a week in Newport Beach CA. This is a 12‑18‑month CTH opportunity. Candidates MUST be able to work directly on a W2 basis with us without sponsorship and NOT through another organization or C2C.
Required Skills & Experience
10-12 years of experience as a Senior SAP FI/CO Analyst, including at least two full lifecycle implementations.
Deep expertise in core FI/CO areas: New GL, AR/AP, Lease Accounting, Special Ledger, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Internal Orders; extensive SAP ECC 6.0 experience.
Strong post‑implementation support experience, including period‑end close activities.
Familiarity with SAP consolidation tools (BCS or BPC).
Understanding of SAP development objects (Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms) and their integration with FI/CO.
Solid grasp of financial and managerial accounting principles and their application within SAP.
Ability to create detailed functional requirements, test cases, and documentation.
Skilled in evaluating SAP Finance modules to recommend improvements or customizations.
Experience with Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) or P2P solutions and their integration with FI/CO.

Research, design, configure, test, and deploy SAP FI/CO solutions.
Provide daily SAP support and maintenance for users across multiple regions.
Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and project implementations.
Troubleshoot and resolve FI/CO issues to maintain consistent operational performance.
