Job Description
LS Technologies, a Tetra Tech Company, is seeking an Implementation Specialist to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in revolutionizing the National Airspace System (NAS).
Responsibilities
Perform light construction and electrical work (site preparation) to support telecommunications infrastructure upgrades.
Climb towers to install, align, or remove antennas and waveguide (if required).
Perform small‑scale trenching using hand tools and light equipment (e.g., mini‑excavators, skid steers, trenchers, drills, compactors).
Conduct technical site surveys and develop survey reports and support the development of installation plans in coordination with FAA stakeholders.
Provide technical support for voice‑grade, data‑comm, digital, and IP telecommunications cutovers.
Ensure compliance with FAA safety standards and government telecommunications regulations.
Maintain and provide detailed documentation of as‑built installations, repairs, and site conditions.
Work Requirements and Additional Information
Work Location: Remote with extensive travel (75%).
Background check: Must obtain and maintain a public trust clearance, requiring U.S. citizenship.
Physical requirements:
Extended computer use.
Lifting and carrying up to 50 lb occasionally.
Mobility around office environment.
Dexterity and visual acuity for computer troubleshooting.
Sitting/standing for troubleshooting and attendance at system issues.
Work environment/factors:
Primarily computer‑based work; meetings or collaboration may be required.
Outdoor work with exposure to variable weather conditions.

Compensation (Pay Bands) Salary at LST is determined by a wide array of factors, such as education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, location, clearance level, and contract‑specific affordability. Salary is a general guideline only. The projected compensation range for this position is within the posting and is based on full‑time, 40‑hour/week status.
