We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Polysomnographic Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting sleep studies and providing comprehensive assessments of patients' sleep patterns. Your expertise in medical terminology, physiology, and sleep medicine will be essential in diagnosing and treating sleep disorders. You will work closely with patients to ensure their comfort and safety during the diagnostic evaluation process.

Responsibilities

Conduct polysomnographic studies on patients to assess sleep disorders.

Monitor and record physiological data during sleep studies, including vital signs.

Analyze data from sleep studies to identify abnormalities in sleep patterns.

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans based on diagnostic findings.

Educate patients about the procedures and equipment used during sleep studies.

Maintain accurate records of patient information and study results.

Ensure the cleanliness and proper functioning of equipment used in the sleep center.

Stay updated on advancements in sleep medicine and related technologies.

Requirements

Years of Experience: 1 year(s)

Certifications:BLS, RPSGT, RPSGT or RRT w/SDS, RRT, SDS, State licensed

Charting System: Required, Epic

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to sleep medicine.

Understanding of human physiology and anatomy, particularly as it relates to sleep disorders.

Experience or education in respiratory therapy is a plus.

Familiarity with conducting physical examinations and evaluating vital signs.

Previous experience working in a sleep center or similar healthcare environment is preferred.

Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams.

Ability to work flexible hours, including nights or weekends as needed for patient care.

Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
