What You’ll Do
Design, build, and maintain backend systems and APIs that ingest, enrich, and distribute product data Partner with product, platform, and engineering teams to understand how product data flows and how to improve it Own features end-to-end—architecture, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and iterating Contribute to system design and code reviews, helping to uphold high engineering standards Investigate and resolve production issues quickly and thoroughly Drive continuous improvement across system performance, reliability, and developer experience

Minimum Qualifications
3–5 years of experience building and maintaining production-grade software systems Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, or another modern backend language Experience with REST APIs, event-driven systems, and cloud-native architectures Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) Comfort working in high-throughput, data-centric environments
Bonus Points For
Experience in retail, commerce, or product/catalog data platforms A strong track record of shipping features fast and iteratively Contributions to system observability, alerting, or developer tools
