FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the architectural design, development, and deployment of ServiceNow ITOM solutions including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB. Serve as the technical leader and trusted advisor for ServiceNow platform initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and best practices. Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and project managers to understand requirements and translate them into effective ServiceNow configurations and customizations. Develop and maintain architectural diagrams, design documentation, and implementation plans. Ensure performance, scalability, security, and maintainability of ServiceNow solutions. Guide and mentor technical teams on ServiceNow development and configuration best practices. Stay current with ServiceNow platform releases and recommend adoption of new features and capabilities. REQUIREMENTS 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow, with at least 3 years focused on ITOM architecture and implementation. Proven expertise in ServiceNow ITOM modules: Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB. Strong understanding of enterprise IT ecosystems, including infrastructure, applications, and network environments. Experience with integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and third-party monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Dynatrace, etc.). Familiarity with ITIL and enterprise service management best practices. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Experience with additional ServiceNow modules such as: ITAM (Hardware, Software, SAM Pro) ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Request) CSM (Case Management, Virtual Agent) SPM (Project Portfolio Management, Demand, APM) ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS – ITOM or others). Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments. Prior experience in a client-facing consulting role is a strong plus.
