Integrity Locums
Coverage Needed:
- Start Date: Mid December 2025
- End Date: Ongoing
- Schedule: Friday 4 PM to Friday 4 PM
Clinical Details:
- Practice Setting: Inpatient
- Call Structure: Approximately 1:4
- Responsibilities: Floor/ED/ICU/emergent consults and endoscopies as needed
- Carry Beeper: Overnight
- Generally go to the hospital for a few hours on Saturday and Sunday to see some consults
- Do not need to stay in the hospital
- Very rare occasion to go into the hospital during off hours
- Average Number of Hospital-Based Patients Per Day: 4-12
- EMR: EPIC
- Locum to perm available
- Clinical Areas: Adult, Hospital, Gastro, endoscopy
- Onsite lab and x-ray
- Consults per day: 2-5 with some follow ups
- Will be scheduled with routine colonoscopies and endoscopies Monday through Friday
- Several empty blocks to see new consults and add cases to the daily schedule and will also see routine consults during the day
Requirements:
- Board Certified - Preferred
- Board Eligible
- Active Massachusetts License
- BLS Certification
- ERCP Certification - Preferred
- Required Procedures: Esophageal Dilatation/Manometry, Esophageal Manometry Interpretation, Small Bowel Biopsy, Lower GI Endoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy, Liver Biopsy
- Required Types of Upper GI Endoscopy: With Biopsy, With Foreign Body Removal, With Fulguration of Bleeder (Cautery vs. Laser), With Injection of Varices, With Banding of Varices, Diagnostic, Therapeutic, With PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy)
