Food Service Worker
Morrison Healthcare is hiring immediately for a part-time Food Service Worker position. Location: Baptist Medical Center Leake, 1100 MS-16, Carthage, MS 39051. Note: online applications accepted only. Schedule: Part-time schedule. Sunday-Saturday 5:30 am - 2:00 pm or 10:00 am - 6:30 pm. More details upon interview. Essential duties and responsibilities include: performing prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables; weighing and measuring designated ingredients; carrying pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards; storing food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures; cleaning work areas, equipment and utensils; distributing supplies, utensils and portable equipment; utilizing approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control; serving customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service; resolving customer concerns and relaying relevant information to supervisor; ensuring compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures; assuring compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements; and performing other duties as assigned.
